Istanbulites came together in museums with a variety of colorful events and campaigns aimed at reaching the city’s rich cultural heritage to a wider audience during Museum Week.

The “Voices of the Deep: From Bach to Itri” concert series, which brings together Eastern and Western civilizations at the Şerefiye Cistern, met music enthusiasts; while Garip Ay, blending modern painting with traditional marbling art, presented a unique performance in the mystical atmosphere of the Basilica Cistern. The Mini Explorers event at Miniaturk and a wood painting workshop at the Panorama 1453 History Museum welcomed young visitors. Turkey’s first comprehensive Digital Experience Museum brought together Istanbulites with a hip-hop workshop attended by visitors of all ages.
